Transportation of the latest generation of Fuji digital inkjet presses

Saan transported the very first three Fujifilm Jetpress 720 machines in the world from Belgium to Austria, France and Italy and delivered and installed them there. A Fujifilm Jetpress 720 was transported from storage in Saan Tilburg and installed in Gleisdorf, Austria on behalf of Fujifilm Europe. This was the very first machine of this type – a new generation of digital inkjet presses – delivered anywhere in the world by Fujifilm.

Thanks to the excellent experience that Fuijfilm.eu gained in Zaventem with this first machine transportation and installation by Saan, Saan’s machine transporters were also engaged to deliver and install the second Fujifilm 720 inkjet press in Le Mans, France. A third delivery and installation of a new digital 720 inkjet press was also made by Saan. This Jetpress 720 was installed in Martino Buon Albergo near Verona, Italy.

Saan has knowledge of the graphics industry and offers total solutions for transportation and installation. This is why Fujifilm chose machine transportation by Saan. The special features on each site are different and Saan’s solution-orientated industrial relocators always know how to deal with this in excellent fashion. Whether it’s an unusual entrance, a very tight room or the maximum floor load, the machine is always positioned in the right place and with extreme care.

The new Fujifilm Jetpress 720 machines were first collected from the port packed in shipping containers. A tractor-trailer combination was used for this transportation job. In Tilburg, the machines were unloaded and put into temporary storage by Saan. One inkjet press was transported to a printing works in the country or abroad upon calloff. At the final destination Saan unloaded the inkjet press and then placed the machine in the right position with a forklift truck. Lastly, the machine’s position was adjusted with the aid of a spirit level.
