Our experienced employees are used to supporting very complex projects from preparation to implementation. We can provide project managers and project staff for these tasks. You have one reliable point of contact for your project.
Turnkey project approach
At Saan, we deal with the relocation of offices, warehouses, archives, museums, hospitals and other wide-ranging projects on a daily basis. Here we apply a turnkey project approach and we take the load off you as far as possible. You hand over the full relocation job to us and we manage everything up to the moment when everyone is back at their work.
One important point for consideration in a relocation is the ICT environment, an environment that must not be brought to a halt. On the morning after the relocation, your staff must of course be able to start up again, inputting orders, consulting diaries, emailing and telephoning as usual. So we also pack the computer equipment and telephones tidily for you and connect them again at the new location. We also relocate servers, complete server rooms and switchboards. So after relocating you are immediately operational again.
We have secure storage sites for the temporary storage of furniture, machinery and other items. At these sites in Diemen, Tilburg and Utrecht you will find both indoor and outdoor storage space. Your goods are securely stored until we take them to your new location. We offer you this storage at a competitive rate.
Packing and unpacking
We will be happy to take care of the packing and unpacking of your archives, desks and cupboards. Before the relocation we pack everything tidily and carefully code the contents. At the new location we unpack your things and everything is put in its rightful place. Would you prefer to pack for yourself? If so, we will supply packaging material, boxes, archive boxes, trolleys and stickers. If desired, we can give a set of clear packing instructions to your staff.
To ensure that the relocation goes smoothly, Saan provides handy relocation equipment. A ladder lift or a lorry with a high tailgate if there is no lift present, for instance. Containers on rollers and boards on casters with archive boxes for the relocation of the contents of cupboards and other paperwork. Containers or ‘smartcars’ with open insides in case you still need to access your archive, store, library or paperwork during the relocation. Rigid boxes for the relocation of personal items, the contents of drawers and the like. And for the relocation of your ICT equipment we have handy computer trolleys. And we of course supply packing paper and labels for clearly coding everything. Are you going to do your own packing and unpacking? If so, we will of course supply you with the relocation equipment in plenty of time and after the relocation everything will simply be collected.
Dismantling and assembly
Do desks, cupboards, meeting room tables or other items of furniture need to be dismantled before the relocation? Our relocators will be very happy to do this too. They bring their own toolboxes so that you don’t have to provide them yourself. At the new destination, the relocators reassemble all the furniture correctly. On the day after the relocation everyone is back at their work as usual!
Relocation creates dust and rubbish, even though our relocators work in a tidy fashion and clear everything up during and after the relocation. Companies often choose to do their own final cleaning up but you can also contract this out to Saan. We will then ensure that everything is once more in tip-top order before you and your staff get to work at your new workstations.
Permissions and exemptions
Saan takes care of all permissions and exemptions required for your relocation. Over the years we have built up a big network of contacts with municipalities and provincial governments. So we can keep communication lines short, which accelerates the start of the work.
